Actually, not true. I just came from a focus group on a program a client is doing about drowsy driving. Did you know (I didn't) that sleep deprivation is a major factor in traffic crashes? According to the National Sleep Foundation and medical groups, the average adult needs 8 - 9 hours of sleep daily. Teens need about 10 hours daily.
The medical group doesn't say anything about sleeping alone or with company, though. Hm.
