The Golden Globes ...Red's Take

Red at The Red Show

Red Show Cheryl Hazan Gallery is having their "10th Annual Red Show."

I love that this gallery brought together works from various artists to feature the color Red. And being that I'm a Red work of art myself, I thought I should take a trip down to Tribeca to enjoy the lovely gallery. And as you can see, I fit right in as my fiery-self stands in front of "Fire Song", a painting by Jeff Muhs.

This current exhibition is running through January 17th and features painting, sculptures and even furniture pieces.

Red & Natural Wood

One of the most unique sets in this exhibition is the bench series called "Martha" by Carter Jason Sio. Judging by these beautifully handcrafted black walnut benches, Sio works well with natural wood...and what girl doesn't love that? (seen with me, and paintings by Pal B Stock and UR New York).

But seriously, this special show only runs for another 6 days. So hurry and get down there to see it. Come on, look at me as I stand in a room dedicated to Red art enticing you! And this is just a taste of some of the beauty in Red.

Check out "The 10th Annual Red Show" before it ends at Cheryl Hazan Gallery open: Monday - Friday 11am - 6pm and Saturday 12pm - 6pm, or by appointment.
